All interested parties are invited to the international conference Trends in Marine Host Microbe Symbioses (https://marinesymbioses.eu/) to be held in Padua, Italy, Oct. 22-25, 2025.
Trends in Marine Host-Microbe Symbioses is organized by Maria Elena Martino (University of Padua) and Raquel Peixoto (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology), in collaboration with the international BMMO (Beneficial Microbes for Marine Organisms) network.
A major goal of the conference is to promote dialogue on strategies needed to protect the animal microbiome and harness its plasticity and evolutionary capacity to safeguard marine ecosystems, which are increasingly threatened by global climate change.
