Seeking a Ph.D. candidate on a project on the early stages of bacterial infection using ex vivo perfusion of experimentally infected human organs with bacteria as a model.
Details on the nature of the project can be found in some publications doi: 10.1016/S2666-5247(21)00195-6, 10.1016/j.ebiom.2021.103601 and 10.1038/s41564-018-0147-1. The methodologies acquired will range from confocal microscopy, infectious process biology, to genomics.
